Job Description:
This is a Strategic Marketing role in KLA-Tencor's wafer inspection division, one of the core groups of KLA-Tencor's yield control business. The pattern wafer inspection division, conceives, develops manufactures and markets pattern wafer inspection equipment for the front end semiconductor manufacturing process counting all major semiconductor manufacturers amongst its key customers.


The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the long term strategic product roadmap for wafer inspection. It also includes defining requirements, setting priorities for the development team, selecting and working with collaboration partners. It also includes prioritizing options for growth. Strong leadership across differing functional groups and effective communication with executive management will be key elements to success in this role.

There will be significant responsibility in leading collaboration projects with leading edge customers and industry consortiums.

Preferred Qualifications:
The successful candidate will have a understanding of the semiconductor manufacturing process and the importance of yield management tools and techniques in accelerating production ramps and
maximizing profitability. The candidate may have direct product marketing experience, probably working for a semi equipment company or other high tech operation.

Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline but a higher degree (masters or PhD) is high desirable.

Expect 2 years experience in a high tech industry, preferably the semiconductor industry (Marketing or Technical role).

An MBA is considered an advantage but not essential to the position.

Primarily responsible for customer service activities associated with updating, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of highly complex capital equipment at customer sites and trade shows. Preferred Qualifications:
1) Candidate must have BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance; certification as a CIA /CISA /CPA is highly preferred.
2) Candidate must have a minimum of 2-4 years audit experience. Experience with the Big 4 audit firms or in similar internal audit roles in large organizations highly preferred.
3) Considerable knowledge of and skill in applying internal auditing and accounting principles and practices.
4) Considerable skill in planning and project management, and in maintaining composure under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines.
5) Considerable skill in effective verbal and written communications, including interviewing skills and presenting findings and recommendations.
6) Skill in negotiating issues and resolving problems.
7) Candidate must be a self-starter and be objective and work independently.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Level Degree with at least 5 years of experience.
OR
Master's Level Degree with at least 4 years of experience.
